Gloria Riviera is a podcast host and journalist with Lemonada Media. Her show No One Is Coming To Save Us examines the childcare crisis in America. The Defenders, with co-host Samantha Bee, looks at life in the United States after the fall of Roe v. Wade. Both shows broke into the Apple Podcast Chart’s top ten list on debut, and solidified stable places in categories of public service. No One recently launched it’s 5th season. Gloria is also a crisis communications consultant in DC. She has contributed to high profile defamation related court cases, education strategies, and litigation in the sustainable fashion industry. Gloria spent more than 20 years with ABC News. She was based in New York, D.C., London, and Beijing. She has reported from more than a dozen countries across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia covering war zones, natural disasters, extreme adventures, and more. Her work has been recognized with a DuPont award, multiple Emmy and Webby nominations, a Signal Award, and more. Gloria lives in Washington DC with her family, including their golden retriever, Skye. A west coast mountain girl at heart, she enjoys spending time in Seattle, Washington and Sun Valley, Idaho.
