AJ Ross

AJ Ross joined CBS Sports in 2018. She serves as a sideline reporter for THE NFL ON CBS, as well as the Network’s college football and college basketball coverage. She has also served as sideline reporter for the HBCU All-Star Game and is a host on CBS Sports' WE NEED TO TALK and BEYOND LIMITS.
Prior to joining CBS Sports, she served as a news reporter with WABC in New York where she reported breaking news and human-interest stories across the Tri-State area and beyond. Ross first appeared on camera as an anchor and multi-media journalist for WMBF News in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
She continued her television career at WSYX in Columbus, Ohio as both a news anchor and reporter before moving on to WTAE in her hometown of Pittsburgh, then to WKYC-TV in Cleveland, Ohio as a news reporter.
Ross received a degree in broadcast journalism from Howard University where she graduated magna cum laude. Ross is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and served as the director of Region IV from 2011 to 2013, and a member of Alpha Chapter Delta Sigma Theta.
She currently resides in the New York area.
