Virginia Shore is a curator, advisor, producer, and arts advocate with extensive expertise in contemporary and modern art in all media.  Formerly, Shore served as the Chief Curator and Acting Director of the US Department of State's, Office of Art in Embassies (AIE). She envisioned, established, and led the Department's first art acquisitions and commissioning division of AIE (2000-2017);  overseeing permanent collections and commissioning for 79 new US Embassies and curating 54 of them. Shore has curated hundreds of international exhibitions and collections for public and private projects and worked with thousands of artists domestically and internationally. She has overseen dozens of monumental site-specific commissions. She has established relationships with dealers, architects, curators, foundations, collectors, and institutions globally. Virginia is a member of the Cultural Advisory Board of Meridian International, the Halycon Arts Lab Executive Committee, and the Association of Professional Art Advisors.
