Travis Parker
I am a seasoned communications manager, public speaker, and writer working at the intersection of sports diplomacy, international affairs, and tourism.
Currently, I wear two different hats. One is managing CenterCircle, a small agency that leads sports diplomacy seminars and trainings for international teams playing in the United States — and American teams playing abroad. The other is writing for Rick Steves’ Europe, drafting newsletters, social media campaigns, and articles encouraging smart travel and highlighting cultural discoveries.
In previous roles, I've worked for the European Union as an officer covering Cultural Affairs and Sport, and managed sports diplomacy programs for the Institute for Sports and Social Justice. I've worked alongside FIFA, MLB, the NFL, and more — and managed sports and cultural programs alongside nations like Ukraine, France, and Germany.
Beyond the everyday office walls, I have enjoyed a side career as a published author in sports, travel, and transatlantic affairs. I’m also a dynamic public speaker and am always happy to sit on — or moderate — a panel. And while I’ll never turn down an opportunity to encourage smart tourism or leverage the power of sport for global good, my ultimate goal is to help grow baseball fandom in Europe.
